The Verge has a video of Windows 7 streaming to an iPad that is “a desktop complete with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and mulititouch apps, far smoother than your average remote desktop solution.”

Manually Killing Apps in iOS Does No Good
From Fraser Speirs commenting on the advice the people receive, even from Apple Geniuses, to manually kill apps to free up memory:
the iOS multitasking bar does not contain “a list of all running apps”. It contains “a list of recently used apps”. The user never has to manage background tasks on iOS.
There are exceptions, but none that you can do anything about.

Dropbox Automator
I love DropBox and use it everyday. So, I was excited to read about DropBox Automator (DBA) which lets you perform an automated action on a file when that file is saved to your Dropbox. For example, save a photo to a folder in DropBox and have DBA automatically upload the photo to Facebook.
